The Heart of the King

The Heart of the King
Commit thy way unto the Lord,
trust also in Him and He shall bring it to pass!
Delight thyself also in Him and
He shall give thee the desires of thine heart!
(Psalm 37:4,5)

God is able to change the heart of the king!
My God is able to do absolutely anything!

If He created this world and all that I see
In just six days, He can surely work this out for me!

God was able to rise up our dear Saviour and Lord
He will surely stand upon His own Word!

I believe in His promises without a doubt
So much that I can lift up my voice and shout!!!

OLD TESTAMENT
Jehovah-raah gave Isaac comfort through his wife when his mother was to die.
Jehovah-shammah answered the prayer of Hezekiah when his death was nigh.

Qanna plagued the Egyptians through Moses that they might let His people go.
Jehovah-jireh gave Abram seed in Sarai where no baby would grow.

El Elyon won the battle for Gideon, who had only a few men.
El-Shaddai shut the mouths of lions so they would not harm Daniel in that den.

Jehovah-sabaoth caused the walls of Jericho to tumble down.
The Almighty caused the brawny Egyptian army to drown.

El Roi encouraged the heart of David as he ran from Saul.
Adonai allowed Samson to kill many even after his shameful fall.

With righteous Job, Jehovah-tsidkenu made everything look quite grim,
But in the end Jehovah-rapha gave so much more back to him.

NEW TESTAMENT
The King of Kings cast out devils and sent them to the swine.
The True Vine turned running water in unfermented wine.

The Prince of Peace calmed the raging sea.
And The Light of the World caused blinded eyes to see.

The Resurrection and The Life made the dead to rise.
Lazarus came forth right before Martha, Mary and so many other’s eyes!

The Living Water walked upon the water and caused the storm to cease.
The Bread of Life even made just five loaves of bread and some fish to increase!

The Carpenter caused the lame to walk.
And through The Word’s power the dumb could talk.

PERSONAL
Jehovah-mekoddishkem gave me victory over my binding, troublesome sin
And put fear in me so that I no longer let it dwell within!

Yahweh changed the heart of my Isaiah, who avoided me as much as He could.
Now he loves me just as God said he would!

If God could change such hearts as mine and his,
Then surely He can and will fix such a crisis as this!

He can change the heart of the king!
He will and can do absolutely anything!

God is mighty and able to work everything out!
Lift up your voice to praise Him! Shout! Shout! Shout!
