This is a poem I wrote on May 17, 2012. I was stressed out that evening and decided to do my nails, which was a very bad idea, I knew God wanted me to read my Bible but I was being too stubborn, my nails turned out horrible, btw. I'm usually very good with them, but this time in my stress I cut them too short and they looked just awful. Should have read my Bible. At the time, life was just unbearly crazy and I was struggling and angry with God because I didn't think He was gonna keep a promise that He had made to me a year before. I didn't wanna think about God let alone hope in Him. I was just miserable. While painting my toe nails, God gave me this poem which I wrote in my phone and forgot all about it until now.
Just Hope in God Already!
(Proverbs 3:5,6)
We are to hope in Him when we are lost.
We are to hope in Him no matter the cost.
When our friends forsake us and break our hearts,
Hope in God!
When trials of this life would tear us apart,
Hope in God!
When tears fill our eyes and give us no relief,
Hope in God!
When the days are full of sorrow and grief,
Hope in God!
No matter what He brings us through,
We are to hope in Him.
When there is nothing else we can do,
Hope in God!
When nothing seems to be moving or working out,
Hope in God!
When you hurt so bad due to the aching pain that you want to lift up your voice in agony and shout,
Hope in God!
When you have no idea what is going on,
Hope in God!
When you cannot fall asleep and it is almost dawn,
Hope in God!
When the way is rough and confusing,
Hope in God!
When you are begging people to change and they are refusing,
Hope in God!
